In 2009 Lee’s TaeKwonDo built upon years of experience and began offering our innovative After School Martial Arts Program (AMP). This innovative program offers children Age 4, grades K thru 6 an exciting alternative to standard after school day-care. The AMP integrates traditional martial arts training with quality after school care. Each AMP day begins with us providing transportation (you may have seen our buses) from your child’s school to our facility. AMP days are filled with indoor sports, arts & crafts, constructive games, character building exercises, and professional martial arts instruction. After a fun and challenging Tae Kwon Do class we provide structured “down time” for homework and quiet activities. The AMP day winds down with pick up hours from 5:00pm ~ 6:30pm. As an added convenience AMP offers full day programs on Teacher Work Days, School Half Days, and select Holidays at no extra charge.
Tae Kwon Do Classes
A key part of AMP is the traditional martial arts instruction that each student receives. Career black belt instructors teach the Tae Kwon Do based classes. Our classes focus on clearly defined curriculum that is arranged so students can set goals, train to achieve them, and experience consistent progress. Students can expect improvements in coordination, overall physical fitness, concentration skills, and mental discipline. The martial arts instruction also offers valuable self-defense skills and instills self-confidence and personal pride.
Staff
Our dedicated professional staff is focused on providing an exciting and safe environment for all of our AMP students. We pride ourselves on providing a fun atmosphere that is focused on personal growth for each student. Our AMP is well staffed with career martial arts instructors, senior staff members, program managers, and assistants. Each staff member has experienced the positive impact that the martial arts can have on a student, and we strive to help each student grow physically, mentally, and emotionally.
IT’S FUN, EDUCATIONAL, AND AFFORDABLE.
Your child will not only learn structure, discipline, self-confidence, and traditional Tae Kwon Do, but he/she will also have fun. We offer classes right after school at 3:30 pm, 4:10pm, 4:40pm, 5:20pm. We have a modern, spacious, and safe facility.
Taekwondo Masters and teachers will pick up your child from school. And you can pick up your children from us between 5:00 and 6:30 pm. On Teachers Work Days, we are open from 7:00 am to 6:30 pm at no extra charge.
